Surge Protector, a worthy investment...

A few months ago, power voltage suddenly skyrocketed as high as 240 volts in the home. Shrills and beeps would be heard everywhere. Electronic appliances/devices would either be damaged being plugged to the outlet directly - or - safe, thanks in part to the surge protector. Surge protectors really help as they are on the frontlines against unsafe voltage. They take most of the brunt and consequently end up as a loss as these surge protectors fulfill their goal and that is to protect your electronics appliances from the damage done. On the bright side, it's better to get another surge protector (at a decent price) rather than buying very expensive electronic products all over again (unless you got a warranty or something of the equivalent to cover the loss). Take it from me. I've personally faced this dilemma with my family here in the home. Invest in surge protectors. Put 'em in every room or every area in which the electronic appliances are commonly used. You won't be sorry.
