The weather temps haven't been nice at all during the last few days. Here in Illinois, we had triple-digits. Its so hot, humid and sticky outside, even in the evenings. Shooting hoops in the park has been played down to 30 minutes for me as I sweat profusely perhaps losing more calories than jogging/ walking on the treadmill alone. Its not as super hot like in VA but its also not as breezy/ less humid like FL. Best bet is to continue staying indoors cranking up the A/C unit to cool and keeping ourselves hydrated with water. But I do feel sorry for the thousands still left without power in a few states including Illinois. Here's hoping power will be restored really quickly!
